By All Points.
At All Points, We offer a professional tile glazing service to perfectly match the color on your roof. All Points Tile brings your roof tiles back to life with this cost-effective tile-glazing service that can ensure the color of your roof pops.
You can even send in a sample of your tile to color match what is on your roof, making replacing faded tile easy because you can be certain they will have the closest color match to the roof. Plus, the process comes with a ten-year guarantee on the glazing of the tile.
We follow a diligent five step process:
There are two ways to choose your color:
This product is specially designed to prepare the roof tile for glazing.
This product primes the tile for the coloring process. Hydro-bond is a stabilizer that ensures a chemical bond between the tile and the glaze.
The next step is the application of the color. Two base coats of glaze are applied in two different directions to ensure proper coverage. If the tiles being matched have flashings (one to two accent colors) involved, the flashing colors are applied after the second base coat has dried.
The final step of the process is the application of a clear coat of “shield” to ensure your tile is protected from the UV and weather. This is what keeps the color vibrant.
Our company works closely together with the manufacturer’s Professional Support Team to ensure that the quality of your tile glaze is as close to your sample tile as possible.
Depending on how the tile is transported, we may stack the tile in two different ways.
The first method is only available for trucks, because it requires enough space for a pallet to be placed on the vehicle. The tile is stacked vertically (standing up/”Bookshelfed”), with plastic bands and wrap to secure the material.
In between the tile, we place thick butcher paper to provide increased protection for the painted surface of the tile. We typically recommend one week of time to pass between the time the Protective Clear Coat has been applied, and the time the tile is taken off the racks to be transported. This drastically reduces the effects friction can have on the painted tile.
When transported via a pallet, we make sure the tile is slightly moved off the edges of the pallets surface to give a buffer zone when a forklift is used to pick up the pallet itself.
The second method is stacking the tile flat. This method is only used when a client does not have access to use a truck for transportation (Sedan/SUV). The same recommendations are made (one-week dry time/paper in between) when utilizing this method as they are when the tile is stacked vertically.
