At the bustling International Roofing Expo (IRE) 2025, The Catch-All took center stage, debuting a suite of new products designed to elevate safety, protect property and streamline job site operations for roofers and contractors. Known for solving some of the roofing industry’s most persistent pain points, The Catch-All’s latest offerings are poised to transform how roofers approach their work — and how they market themselves to clients.
Among the standout innovations is the Pool Shield, a lightweight, transparent alternative to tarps for pool protection. Unlike traditional tarps, which can create dangerous blind spots and safety hazards, the Pool Shield uses a proprietary netting system that allows users to see the pool's edges while still guarding against debris. "People have been asking for this for a long time," said The Catch-All founder Heath Hicks.
Another anticipated release is the AC Shield, a portable net-and-pole system designed to protect outdoor air conditioning units during roofing jobs. Priced at $249 and compact enough to store behind a truck seat, the AC Shield offers contractors a way to avoid costly homeowner complaints and repairs, while also projecting a professional, customer-focused image. Heath noted, “It's not expensive. It's reusable for years, especially when you compare it to the expense of $5,000 replacing somebody's AC."
Safety remained a major theme as Heath introduced the Roof Step, a permanent anchor point that offers homeowners and contractors a stable platform to safely access the roof. Designed to be installed during a reroof, the Roof Step includes ladder hooks and a reinforced platform tested to withstand 1,500 pounds. "Thousands of contractors per year get seriously injured or die getting on and off people's roofs in the residential scenario," Heath stressed. "It provides a safer way on and off the roof and it's a great upsell to the homeowner — something that will increase the revenue and margin of the job."
Perhaps the most buzzworthy innovation is the Load Runner, an automated wheelbarrow lift that dumps debris into dumpsters safely and efficiently. By eliminating the need for manual lifting and throwing, the Load Runner reduces mess, enhances safety and improves productivity. Heath highlighted its potential impact: “You can fill the dumpster completely without having to go inside and shift things around — which is obviously dangerous.”
All these products reflect The Catch-All’s core mission: protecting property, improving safety and enhancing the professionalism of roofing contractors. Heath expressed that the products are designed to "solve problems on the job site" while also giving contractors opportunities to increase revenue and protect clients' property.
Most of these products are currently available for pre-order, making IRE 2025 the first opportunity for contractors to get in line. With safety, convenience and professionalism at the forefront, Catch-All’s newest products are set to become essential tools for forward-thinking contractors — and a key differentiator in a competitive market.
