As a steep-slope roofing contractor, you have the opportunity to work with underlayment manufacturers and have your logo custom printed on your underlayment of choice. However, when it comes to self-adhered underlayments, the choices are limited.
Working with manufacturers like MFM, you can have your underlayments branded with your logo. It will increase your brand awareness with contractors, builders, subcontractors and the general public by having your logo custom printed on your roofing underlayments.
In talking to MFM, the product can be imprinted with your logo (dominant graphic), as well as the MFM product logo. Minimum order size is one truckload, and the initial and replacement print die costs are the customer’s responsibility. There are no additional charges added to the price of the carton. MFM ships the product in their cartons with a carton sticker designating your company name. MFM also carries the product warranty, which is a significant benefit.
It is always important to research and then establish a relationship with manufacturers to see if they can help not only with custom printing but additional marketing. Overall, manufacturers are hungry for case studies, project profiles and testimonials.
According to MFM, they can design an individual printing plate or provide a template to create your own customer design. Imprinting is limited to one color, but ink choices include black, blue, red, green and white if the surface film is black. MFM will even provide a customized Technical Data Sheet, if needed.
