Mule-Hide Products believes in the strength of the roofing community and works to support that community through their View from the Top contest. Every month, they send out the call for project photos that give a birds’ eye view of a crew’s completed work on a local building. Winners are selected and featured on their social media pages, along with receiving some neat merchandise from Mule-Hide!
Recently, Clark Roofing TX won with their pictures of the historic Palladium building in their hometown of Waco, Texas. Clark Roofing TX has proudly served their community since 1987, providing them with high quality work and customer service for affordable prices.
For their winning project, Clark Roofing TX faced a unique challenge. The building they were working on, the Palladium, has been an iconic part of Waco’s skyline for over 128 years. In its original form, all the way back in 1895, it was the Bauer-McCann Department Store. The company was challenged with the task of both protecting the history and integrity of the building while also providing the repairs the interior and roof needed.
With Waco being their hometown, they knew how important the Palladium is to the community and gave particular care to features such as the building’s interior finishes. To address issues, such as possible roof leaks, they chose to utilize Mule-Hide's 80-mil TPO roofing system. Texas’ climate tests roofs with brutal heat and severe weather such as hail. This choice was made because of the system’s ability to last the test of time, like the Palladium has.
