Increase Profitability in Your Roofing Businesses Through Cultural Alignment and Employee Engagement

GLO Group Increase Profitability Podcast
September 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Adam Cabrera.

By focusing on organizational culture, The GLO Group helps roofing businesses increase revenue and profitability.

In a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips®, host Heidi J. Ellsworth chatted with Monica Vornbrock and Melissa Chapman, the co-owners of The GLO Group. Founded in 2021, The GLO Group has a unique mission: to help businesses in the roofing industry create transformational change by focusing on cultural alignment and employee engagement.

Both Monica and Melissa bring a wealth of experience from their backgrounds in business development, marketing and advertising. Their combined knowledge led them to establish The GLO Group, which aims to help companies foster more communicative and engaged internal teams.

"Some of the things that we've noticed is once an organization is focused on their culture... that translates into more engaged team members, into more productive team members, into more innovative employees," Monica says.

The GLO Group's philosophy revolves around initiating change from the inside out. They argue that concentrating on an organization’s culture, internal connections and employee growth can yield more productive teams. Improved employee morale, higher retention rates and a better customer experience all become factors that ultimately contribute to increased revenue and profitability.

According to Melissa, healthy organizations thrive not only because of employee morale, retention and engagement, but also by having the right processes in place and holding each other accountable. “Those healthy organizations are the ones that are going to last. They're going to out survive everybody else. And that's the sustainable model," Melissa says.

Clients that have adopted their strategies have shown significant improvements in various metrics, including innovation and the creation of brand loyalists among both employees and customers. By offering a fresh approach centered around cultural alignment and experiential events, The GLO Group sets itself apart in an industry focused mainly on sales and marketing tactics.
