In this episode of Roofing Road Trips®, host Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with Brady Campbell the vice president of business development at EagleView and Doug Vickerson from Renoworks to discuss how EagleView and Renoworks are transforming the contractor and homeowner experience with cutting-edge visualization technology. By partnering to create a powerful integration, these companies are making it easier than ever for contractors to showcase their offerings and close deals, all while improving the customer journey from start to finish.
The conversation focuses on the evolving landscape of home remodeling sales, especially in light of emerging technologies that are changing the way contractors interact with homeowners. "Homeowners are buying differently, they're searching differently, they're exposing themselves to information differently. It's a whole new world," says Brady. This shift is pushing contractors to adopt more interactive and visually engaging tools to stay competitive.
One of the standout features discussed is EagleView’s new Full House product, which creates a digital twin of a structure. This technology not only eliminates the need for multiple site visits but also enables virtual meetings, making it possible for contractors to connect with busy homeowners wherever they are. Brady notes the flexibility this provides, saying, "It allows contractors to open up their schedules so homeowners don't have to take days off work to meet the contractor."
Doug elaborates on how the integration offers a vast library of manufacturer imagery, enabling contractors to customize visualizations for homeowners quickly. “We have a process to update the products. Obviously, technical know-how to build the library is important," Doug shares. This extensive product library helps contractors present a wide range of options, enhancing their ability to upsell and meet diverse customer preferences.
Both Brady and Doug agree that the integration of visualization tools with precise measurement data significantly shortens the sales cycle. Brady states, "When you have a visual representation that they can quickly run through, it helps them move the homeowner down that lead funnel." This not only boosts efficiency but also enhances consumer confidence as homeowners can see exactly what their investment will look like.
