Integrating innovative tools and practices can save you both time and money in the long run, but the implementation process can have its own challenges. In this MetalTalk™ webinar, Karen Edwards speaks with Chad Rowe, Ken McLauchlan and Stephen Gosk of MetalForming. They discuss their latest product launches and how MetalForming provides their customers with valuable resources to help navigate their new equipment.
Stephen, president of MetalForming, noted the company’s important role as a reseller, meaning they work in the space between customer and supplier, helping both sides grow and improve. Stephen elaborated, “One of the key roles that we do play is bringing that customer and market feedback to the suppliers, whether that's new technology or trends in the industry, to really emphasize for them what they need to focus on and where they need to put things into their long-term product road maps.” This connectivity also benefits MetalForming’s customers, as they know what’s going on in the entire industry and can help ensure that customers are getting the right tool for their needs.
One unique way the team at MetalForming supports their customers is through their demo room. Ken, who has been in the industry for more than three decades and is the vice president of architectural sales at MetalForming, explained that this is a space where customers can witness the machinery live in action.. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the machinery and get a clear picture of the machine’s capabilities..
But MetalForming’s interactive initiatives don’t stop there. The company has also equipped their space with a training center. Ken explained, “Last year we invested in a full-blown training room that we can bring people in so that when they make this investment and equipment, they can bring in their key people. We'll also come to them and do training, but when they want to send people in for refreshers, or if we're doing, we want to work with their sales team, we want to work with their tech teams, we can bring them in and do a full training in our facility as well with the equipment.”
Chad, who has worked with MetalForming since 1999, summed it all up, “Metal Forming is here to help you understand, use our years of experience. Don't try to walk the path by yourself.”
