We recently finished the 2023 Western Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it was a busy exhibition! During the expo, Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with Evan Klaus from Leap in a live episode of Roofing Road Trips to discuss a new digital platform to help you “Be The Professional.” Learn how Leap can help you increase efficiency in your business and make it easier to complete jobs with greater customer satisfaction.
Evan is the sales manager out of Baltimore, Maryland, and tells us that the platform is meant to help you “Be The Professional,” not a professional. He explains, “We want to just empower all of our roofing contractors out there to be the person in mind. When somebody’s like ‘Oh, I need a roof,’ they’ve got someone in mind.” He talks about helping his mom at a roofing company over the summers and continues, “When it comes to being the professional, it’s about delivering quality work, and doing it in a professional manner, and getting things done on time and under budget, or on budget at the very least.”
As Heidi points out, the roofing industry literally protects families, assets, businesses and more, making it one of the most important trades. It’s equally important to bring the industry up to the level of professionalism of other industries. Evan agrees, and that is exactly what Leap has been working to do by providing contractors with an end-to-end digital management platform. “I’m just trying to put myself in the shoes of somebody who’s looking to get a roof. It’s a stressful situation. Nobody’s excited about that. No one’s like, ‘Oh, can’t wait to get a new roof this year.’ And the buying experience, it needs to be just flawless.” There are so many parts from providing a bid to ordering materials to the final installation that one small problem can lead to dropping the ball. With a digital platform, you begin to reduce the possibility of mistakes and set processes in place that safeguard every step of the way.
