In Season One, Episode One of MetalCoffeeShop’s MetalCast, Heidi J. Ellsworth welcomes Mark MacDonald from Sherwin-Williams to talk about the prosperity of MetalVue and the individual advancements that help contractors find success selling metal.
Mark works in the coil division of Sherwin-Williams as a sales marketing manager focusing on business development. Wanting to help others become successful with metal materials, MetalVue was created to help businesses succeed. “We want to make it as easy as possible. Taking us down that technology journey that started with one of our key partnerships with EagleView – getting to understand, to make estimation easier for metal roofing,” says Mark.
There are many ways to help businesses, including training and educational seminars but one concept that really has helped MetalVue contractors find success is the program's use of technology. Using technology like Predictive Sales AI has allowed contractors to better understand their target market and close more sales.
“Watching a company like that work with a customer is incredible,” explains Mark. “I've learned so much over the last year just listening to them talk to customers about how they can help them on their site. So partnering with these types of folks is really key to the program because we're handing value to people.”
