Lori Jerome - Find Your Distinctive Roof

Roofing Road Trips PABCO
April 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

By Cass Jacoby, RCS Reporter.

PABCO has some of the strongest shingles on the market, but it’s the support they provide as manufacturers that really sets them apart.

In a special Roofing Road Trips episode, Heidi J. Ellsworth travels south of Seattle to visit with Lori Jerome of PABCO Roofing Products. The two are joined by Dylan Winmill and Zach Sayles with Omega Roofing for a conversation on marketing and the importance of working with companies that deliver more than just products as a way for contractors to differentiate themselves.

Lori highlights that what makes their relationships with contractors so special is the way the company is dedicated to contractor success. PABCO works hard to provide contractors with resources and support to ensure that their companies do more than provide a superior product to their customers.

“We offer custom marketing. We offer job signs and we have a website that has a visualizer product on it; our contractors can use that as well as a homeowner,” says Lori. “Our preferred contractor program is full of people like Omega Roofing that give back and that care. It's all in line with what we do here at PABCO and what we believe in. That’s what our values are all about truly.”

This kind of support is vital to the manufacturer-contractor relationships PABCO fosters, because contractors know they are being backed by more than just performance. "We didn't have our eyes on PABCO at all until we realized their values and what they stood for. And that's what sold us. That's what made us become PABCO contractors,” says Zachary. “We just fell in love with the company, their culture. And we trust them. We trust that if something does happen or anything goes wrong with those shingles, they're actually going to take care of that and own up to it.”

Dylan adds that the culture of caring and support promoted by PABCO reflects highly on their products. “You can tell they really care about the shingles that they're producing and what they're putting out,” says Dylan. "PABCO was very eager to help us grow and help us get better, you know what I mean? [They really] stand behind us and stand with us.”
