Cotney Consulting Group provides contractors with solutions from their more than 65 years of experience working in the industry. Consultants at Cotney have real world experience running eight-figure, multi-million-dollar companies, have run into the same problems you have and solved them.
Cotney shares their knowledge to help you achieve success. They constantly come out with new – and free – educational content to help you grow your business. In a recent webinar, Achieving Excellence with Service, CEO of Cotney Consulting Group, John Kenney, is joined by Cotney Associate Consultant, Lee Lipniskis, to discuss the ins and outs of building a successful roofing service and maintenance department.
In this webinar you will learn:
How to utilize data and technology to get your business to the next stage of our economy.
How to create a strategy for your service/maintenance division, including:
You target customers
Your financial investments in acquiring necessary equipment.
How to develop a marketing and sales plan for your maintenance division. This includes:
How to incentivize your techs to get more reviews from customers
How to expand your service area using Google Local Services.
How to build a dedicated and diversified team. Trying to split time between your installation teams and maintenance teams does not work and is a recipe for disaster. If you are doing both repairs and maintenance, it is best to develop your team for these specialties.
How to clearly define your service division and teams’ goals so that they align with your company’s overall mission.
About the hosts:
Lee Lipniskis is a consultant at Cotney Attorneys & Consultants and has been in the roofing industry for over 14 years, starting off as a roofing estimator, then advancing to finance manager where she oversaw the front office staff, human resources, risk management and the finance team.
John Kenney is the CEO of Cotney Consulting and has been in the industry for over 45 years. John started working summers in roofing at nine years old and hasn’t looked back. He began his career in his family business before managing a slew of successful projects across the Northeast U.S. He progressed from a roofing laborer to chief operating officer through hard work and attention to customer satisfaction.
In this webinar, John shares his story and even quotes his grandfather, who started the family business in 1924, saying, “You’ve got to take care of the customer and the customer will take care of you."
Watch the entire webinar to learn how you can create a high-performing maintenance division in your company.
