Craig Martin and his fellow associate Brett used to rely on their "bid it and forget it" model to make sales, basically strategizing to bid anything that came their way. Like many subcontractors, they believed that, "The more I bid, the more I will sell," but this needed to change. After doing their due diligence, they decided to invest in a more relational sales approach. “Now we're more salesman because we're actually doing some sales now instead of just throwing numbers at it,” says Craig. Trading the "estimator" title for “salesman,” Craig and Brett each went from $7.5 million to $10 million apiece and are now delegating busy work to new team members. Eagle Concrete experienced an “instant return” when joining the Sales Transformation Group community.
