Guess Who Was Featured on Building Wins?

RoofersCoffeeShop® President Heidi J. Ellsworth was recently featured on Building Wins LIVE!, Randy Chaffee’s show about the building industry. 

Although Heidi spends a lot of time speaking with roofing industry professionals through industry events and RoofersCoffeeShop (RCS) podcasts and YouTube videos, recently the tables have turned! Earlier this year, Heidi was featured on an episode of Building Wins LIVE! with host Randy Chaffee, a manufacturer’s representative for MARCO Industries.  

The two discuss how they first met at a dinner with MARCO, along with other RCS crew members. Ever since then, Heidi and Randy have been speaking with each other about the current state of the roofing industry. Just this past year, Randy was featured on an episode of Roofing Road Trips. 

On the show, Heidi discusses her long-term experience in the roofing industry dating back to 1993. She started working at nonprofit organizations after graduating college but desired a career path with better work-life balance. She grew up working in the trades with her father who was a general contractor and used this experience to find work in the roofing industry. Once she stepped foot into the world of roofing, she never looked back. 

Randy thoughtfully describes RoofersCoffeeShop as the voice of the roofing industry. “There’s hardly any show that has to do with roofers that you’re not at,” he said. “You bring a technology-based voice to a lot of folks that probably wouldn’t, couldn’t or don’t want to be involved with that.” 

The two also discuss the extensive benefits of joining RCS, either as a regular site visitor or as an R-Club Member. Although most of the website is free, there are a variety of perks that come from joining the R-Club.  

“The R-Club gets some discounts on those classified ads; it gets them a full directory. They have some amazing help from consulting and marketing and SEO support,” Heidi said. “And they also get to be a part of our sister site, AskARoofer, which is our homeowner and building owner site that we also run.”
