Everyone on the Tradeshow Floor Loves Metal

ATAS Everyone Loves Metal
December 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

By Cass Jacoby.

ATAS International joins us at the RoofersCoffeeShop® soundstage at WRE to talk about how hot metal is at this year’s tradeshow.

Karen Edwards invites ATAS International’s Minnie Robles and ATAS Director of Perimeter Edge Business Bob LeClare to the RCS soundstage for a LIVE! interview at the Western States Roofing Contractor Association (WSRCA)’s 2022 Western Roofing Expo!

“I did a presentation this morning on codes for low-slope roofing, and best practices for perimeter edge metal,” says Bob. “A lot of great interaction, great questions. And so that's driving some people coming by the booth to follow up on things that I talked about.”

Like all other tradeshows, metal continues to be a hot item. The growth of this resilient and durable building material continues to draw contractors in to learn more and start working with the material.

“A lot of contractors are intrigued at the new possibilities to expand their business with metal,” says Minnie. “Metal’s becoming extremely popular and a lot of the contractors are really interested in seeing what different products they have to offer.”

However, metal isn’t just offering opportunity as a growing sector of the industry, it is also providing contractors the ability to offer a more sustainable alternative. More and more homeowners are looking for a sustainable product and they want to know that the product is being manufactured sustainably, so the importance of metal in this discourse only grows. “Metal is very sustainable. And ATAS as a company is very sustainable,” says Bob.

Additionally, ATAS has new products that are drawing contractors to their booth.

“We've got our Omawall and our Omawall PL, our plate systems that are available on our website, and if you stop by our booth, you'll be able to see a lot of the new stuff that we have,” says Minnie. “We do have a new modular system also up on our website. We try to be an innovative company. So as we go forward, coming out with new ideas and new things for our contractors and our distributors continue to check out our website.”
