At the 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, RoofersCoffeeShop’s® very own Karen Edwards had the opportunity to sit down with Bailey Reeves, a product manager from CertainTeed, who shared exciting insights into the recent innovations in residential roofing and what offerings they have available for contractors.  

Bailey began describing CertainTeed's comprehensive system solutions, known for their class four shingles which offer enhanced hail resistance and cold weather application. "We have a bunch of stuff happening in our booth this week," says Bailey. “We have a couple new colors we’re really excited about...there’s been a ton of great turnout around our solar solutions as well.” 

She emphasized the importance of education and practical knowledge, particularly through CertainTeed's mobile training vehicles. This approach allows CertainTeed to equip contractors with the necessary tools and knowledge for optimal installation and product application. "All of our territory managers are also super versed in how to install things," Bailey mentions. “Throughout our contractor programs it's really around educating the contractor so that they know how to install properly, offer the best warranty and protection for the homeowners.” 

Discussing the benefits extended to contractors, Bailey elaborated on the various rewards and educational opportunities available through CertainTeed's contractor programs. "We have roofers rewards as well that contractors that are credentialed with us can use towards enhancing their warranty offering to homeowners," she highlighted.  

Bailey's passion was evident as she discussed new product launches, reflecting CertainTeed's forward-thinking approach to roofing materials.
