In Roofing Road Trips® Season 5, Episode 71, Heidi J. Ellsworth welcomed Evan Klaus to talk about Leap and how they can help business owners be “The Professional.” Evan, who’s been a sales manager at Leap for two years, explained that this campaign is focusing on empowering the industry. He shared, “We want to just empower all of our roofing contractors out there to be the person in mind.” Leap wants contractors to be the professionals that homeowners and businessowners turn to.
Evan said that the idea of being “The Professional” is about raising the bar for the entire industry in your day-to-day work. “It's about delivering quality work, and doing it in a professional manner, and getting things done on time and under or on budget,” he explained. Heidi brought her experience into the conversation, sharing how quality work with a smooth process is key to getting a good word-of-mouth reputation, which leads to referrals.
This is where Leap comes in, to make the process smoother so contractors can spend more time on their quality work. There are two products that target different areas of the process. First is the SalesPro, a digital software to streamline the sales process. Evan explained, “We make sure that there's guardrails put in place to make sure that the roofing contractors aren't under bidding jobs.”
Secondly, there’s JobProgress. This is a workflow management software that steps in where SalesPro leaves off. Evan explained, “Once you get that job, it's time to order materials and that's where the ball could potentially be dropped. Timelines get spread out or you're not ordering the right things at the right time.” By offering a digital, customizable organization system for your contracting business’s paperwork, such as quotes, marketing, contracts and more, it keeps you on track to build that positive reputation and become “The Professional.”
