4 Steps to Free Up 10 Hours A Week – Part 2

Last week we introduced the idea of side stepping the “daily deluge” so you can grow your business. This week we will share the first three steps to free up 10 hours a week.

By Greg Hayne, Hayne Coaching Group

Step 1: The Deeper 'What's' and 'Why's' of what's keeping you too busy If I ask you what keeps you too busy, you can easily tell me. You are an expert at knowing what is stealing your time and what is dragging you back into those daily details.  We hear these lists all the time. You know what? They are accurate!

Here is the thing: While you know what is keeping you too busy, you just don’t know what to do about it!

Here is why.

We have discovered that there is always a deeper layer of unique reasons for why you are really not making the progress you want. Here we help you begin to get beyond the surface layers and identify the less obvious things that are really holding you back.

Step 2: Uncover the options you previously couldn’t see When you look at this more complete list of deeper level “what’s” and “why’s” you will find new options.

Some of these options may be so obvious and simple that your course of action is quite obvious. It is tempting to take these and run with them. That may be OK, but often there are other, more powerful choices and options that take a bit more digging to uncover. We help you identify and flesh these out.

There is always a way to get where you want to go.

Perhaps you can’t keep your right-hand man from leaving and taking your best crew with him. But you can build a company that turns such a “major disruption” into something you consider more of an “inconvenience” and allows things to continue to move forward without taking a major step backward.

Step 3: Plan the three changes that will free up 10 hours each week. You may be surprised. It may not actually take three changes to free up that kind of time, it may only take one. The whole purpose of Steps 1 and 2 is, ultimately, to free up time and create space for you to think, plan and implement the things that will help you truly grow your business into what you have, up till now, now only dreamed it could be. In Step 3, we help you sort out the options to find the most effective changes to make and those that can be implemented most quickly.

You will find ways to do this.

You may also find that your initial plan needs tweaking and fine tuning. This may not be because your plan didn’t work. It may be because that it worked way better than you anticipated!
