What it means to be a ROOFPRO

IKO What it means to be a ROOFPRO
July 25, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.

By Emma Peterson.

Elevating customer confidence and roofing standards one ROOFPRO Contractor at a time.

ROOFPRO is a contractor loyalty reward program run by IKO, open to roofing contractors in the U.S. and Canada. The program was born out of the knowledge that choosing a roofing contractor is a difficult decision for most homeowners. This program makes the decision a little easier; when you work with an IKO ROOFPRO Contractor homeowners can trust that they are getting an extended Iron Clad Protection Period limited warranty and quality service at every step of the process. City Boss Roofing, an IKO Craftsman Premier in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is a prime example of what a ROOFPRO Contractor is.

Jordan Cutts, the owner of the company, started his roofing career at a small supplier and started City Boss about eleven years ago to learn more about the trade and get into the field. He explained a bit about their story, “We've got a lot of great customers and a pretty good track record here. I love the competition of the industry because I'm very confident with the skills we have, the teams we have and the products we use.”

They exemplify what a ROOFPRO Contractor should be through their mission, which Jordan explained, “We put the customer before the sale, so we want to understand what their needs are and what their expectations are. We want to deliver and then some, on all those points. You just want to make the homeowner feel good.” One of the ways they go above and beyond is through walking the homeowner through everything they did at the end of the job. Jordan elaborated on why they do this, “We do it so they're comfortable and if they ever want to sell the property or if they have an insurance claim, they know how the roof was done, who did it.”
