Housewraps are a great material to use to protect a home from air and moisture damage. There are three different products in TopShield’s HouseWrap line: 

HouseWrap 

Their standard HouseWrap is made from a polypropylene woven fabric that is reinforced with a polyproplene coating with UV inhibitors. It’s designed to be tear- and weather-resistant and will protect homes from air and moisture. HouseWrap is also somewhat translucent, making it easy for contractors to install studs with no need for nailing marks. And because it’s tear-resistant, there will be less waste for you at the jobsite! 

HouseWrap-PLUS 

HouseWrap-PLUS is similar to the standard HouseWrap in that it’s made from the same polypropylene fabric and coating. It is slightly thicker and weighs more than the standard HouseWrap and you have the option to custom print (an option which is available on all TopShield Products). It still provides the same benefits, including tear resistance and protection from water infiltration. It is also UV resistant and can be left on a home for up to six months. Both HouseWrap and HouseWrap-PLUS meet current building codes for water- and air-resistive barriers. 

HouseWrap-SUPREME 

For more demanding projects and applications, TopShield’s Housewrap-SUPREME is the top choice for the job. This HouseWrap prevents air and water infiltration with a unique 360-degree drainage system. The HouseWrap-SUPREME can drain in every possible direction, regardless of the material it’s used on. It can be installed over wood, vinyl, metal, cement sidings, brick stone and stucco. It’s perfect for those tougher houses that need to be protected from severe weather and environments. 

There are also warranty upgrades available for all three HouseWraps. HouseWrap and HouseWrap-PLUS can be upgraded to 25 years for materials/labor when installed as a system and HouseWrap Supreme can be upgraded to 50 years.
