We are constantly exploring innovative ways to enhance our operations and ensure the highest quality of service for our clients and employees. One of the areas we have focused on is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into various aspects of our business, including roofing, human resources and safety.
Drones equipped with AI-powered cameras allow us to capture detailed images of roof conditions, identifying potential issues such as leaks with precision, it gives us another view of the roof and the video is passed to the safety supervisor and helps set up his safety protocol for the roof. This technology not only speeds up the inspection process but also ensures that we do not miss any critical areas that require attention. We also use the footage on social media for branding and exposure which is already mostly powered by AI.
The human resources department and the safety department have benefited from the use of AI as well. The main use for us currently is using AI to help build training modules and presentations to assist in the development of the programs. Making Microsoft PowerPoints more appealing and attention grabbing even though It is small-scale implementations currently, gradually we will expand as we gain more experience and confidence in the technology.
My advice to everyone in the business is to understand that AI is here and it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Be on the learning side of this in our industry be on the initiative side and begin with small use case scenarios for AI, maybe setting up an email blast to other companies you are trying to do business with or even automated thank you notes for clients. Whatever it may be just try it. The main purpose for business is to offer the best service possible and if AI is here to help increase productivity, use it to do so and you will be just fine.
