At the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) 2024 show, RoofScope made a significant impact with its new tools designed to enhance efficiency for contractors, carriers and adjusters. Megan Ellsworth interviewed Joseph from RoofScope, who explained the innovative solutions the company is bringing to the roofing industry.
“We offer 99% accuracy in our reports, the best coverage in the industry by far,” Joseph expressed during the interview. These reports, which include estimates and material orders, are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, helping them scale their sales teams and reach their goals more efficiently.
One of the standout features discussed was the ProData Property Report, a valuable tool designed to equip roofing professionals with essential information about building codes, storm damage history and roofing permits. Joseph explained that the comprehensive property report empowers sales representatives by providing them with relevant insights, such as the date of the last permit pulled, the history of significant storm damage to the roof and key neighborhood data to make informed decisions. This information enables reps to engage with clients more effectively and address their roofing needs with accurate, timely data.
He further elaborated on how this tool supports the sales process, allowing reps to present a more polished pitch by having all necessary information at their fingertips. “It basically makes the sales process more efficient, and it gives it more presentation for their clients. It lets them know that they've done the research and we've helped them do that,” Joseph added.
RoofScope’s ability to integrate with various software systems was another major topic of discussion. Joseph noted partnerships with SumoQuote, JobNimbus and Xactimate, saying, “We now have Xactimate and Symbility, those are two newer integrations, so we're able to work in the insurance space with our contractors, adjusters and the carriers throughout the entire process.”
These integrations allow clients to manage everything from estimates to material orders and insurance claims in one place, making RoofScope a one-stop shop for roofing professionals. Attendees at the event were particularly impressed with the customization options, which included adding company logos to reports and other documents. “We love this tool because it also gives them information on municipality, what code that’s being used in municipality,” Joseph noted.
RoofScope’s commitment to the Texas market was also a key talking point. Joseph, who personally worked in Texas for the first two years with the company, praised the contractors in the state, saying, “We love Texas, we love the clients in Texas, we love the contractors in Texas. Real standup people, transparent and straightforward.”
