Unlocking the power of analytics for contractors

Ingage Unlocking the power of analytics for contractors
August 29, 2024 at 3:00 a.m.

By Jesse Sanchez.

Enhanced visibility and user-friendly navigation make data insights more accessible than ever.

In this episode of Roofing Road Trips®, host Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down to discuss Ingage's latest update, Analytics 2.0, a suite of features designed to enhance data visibility and ease of use for contractors and sales teams. Cody Carnes, an account executive at Ingage, spoke on the specifics of these features during a recent webinar and how they are set to revolutionize the way contractors interact with their data.

"Analytics 2.0, released in August, adds a dashboard home and detailed reports for sessions, users, and content," said Cody. "These views and reports show data for selected date ranges, users and teams with simple filtering controls and settings." This update aims to simplify navigation and provide clear insights into customer interactions, allowing contractors to answer key questions such as, "What customers were we presenting to? What did we show? How many customer interactions did we have?"

The new dashboard provides a top-level view of analytics for the previous week without the need for users to manually filter or sort data. This ease of access ensures that essential metrics are readily available. "Home reports are a new feature," Cody explained. "The session home report displays up to 10 sessions per page, allowing for easy navigation and detailed insights into each session, including start time, total duration and session tags."

One of the standout features of Analytics 2.0 is the ability to compare users. "Now you can bring up multiple users and compare them with up to 20 presentations," Cody noted. This functionality is crucial for identifying best practices among top performers and training underperformers to improve their results.

Feedback from contractors has been overwhelmingly positive. "Easier to navigate, easier to find the information that they want to find," reported Cody. The updated analytics have led to increased usage and a more intuitive understanding of data, contributing directly to improved performance. "I personally have a customer that we signed this year. They've seen a 3% increase in the closing rate."
