It’s always interesting to see what articles drew the most interest each month on RoofersCoffeeShop. The top five always include a story about people in the industry and that was the case again this month. Our most-read article last month was about four women who are moving the industry forward through their research and development work at Duro-Last. The article features a Q & A with each of the women about their roles and how they contribute to innovation in the industry.
The number two spot was also about people, but it was about recognizing people and projects through the Roofing Alliance MVP and Gold Circle Awards Program. Many times, contractors shy away from publicizing their projects, contributions and outstanding people but this informative article shares six ways that participating in these programs can help your marketing and your company culture.
Taking the number three and five spots was a two-part guest blog from one of our RCS Influencers on the insurance deductible dilemmas and other horror stories taken from her own experiences. It was eye-opening and worth a read. Number four was a project profile about the challenge of roofing a building in one of the wettest places on earth. You’ll want to be sure to read what solution they came up with.
Once again, I am including the #6 – 10 spots because they were all so close to being in the top five and because the article about RCS winning an award made the cut. We are still excited about and honored by that recognition.
