Barndominiums, a.k.a. ‘barndos’, have been on the rise across the southern U.S. for quite some time now, and it’s no wonder why. Homeowners who love the sleek and classy look of metal while still maintaining a traditional interior are fawning over the barndo style which exemplifies these ideas. This recently constructed barndominium in Marlow, Oklahoma is a great example of what homeowners love about the barndo style.
This black barndo sits on a whopping 20 acres of land with the home itself being 3,129 square feet. Its metal exterior is complemented well with elements of wood and glass which truly make it a classic barndo. According to Our Barndominium Life™, their coverage of this house went viral with over one million views across their social media platforms.
The California-style barndo offers a variety of amenities including a private entrance, a wine room, three-car garage and a gourmet kitchen. The inside of the home is filled with lovely Carrara marble which is complemented by stained concrete floors and black iron accents. There’s even a touch of elegance with crystal chandeliers as well.
The balanced beauty of the barndo doesn’t end there. This location also has an amazing view of Mt. Scott and gets plenty of natural sunlight with its oversized windows. Although the home is currently off the market, it’s still worth looking at to get inspiration for your next barndo project. You can learn more about it on Our Barndominium Life’s website.
