Due to the various uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations like New Pathways for Youth and Youth On Their Own are finding themselves in demanding times. Unfortunately, in our world it is a reality that some children don’t know where they will be sleeping at night or when they will eat next.
The development of COVID-19 has impacted everyone in some way or another, including the ability of some organizations to provide invaluable and needed support to homeless or at-risk youth. These incredible organizations, New Pathways for Youth and Youth on Their Own, help these children who need it most and Arizona Roofing Industry Foundation (ARIF) and Arizona Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) have been ongoing supporters.
Sadly, ARIF and ARCA had to cancel their Phoenix and Tucson bowling tournaments this year which help sponsor the programs. However, it is still in everyone's ability to help out New Pathways for Youth and Youth on Their Own with ARCA’s 'Greatest Needs Drive.' ARIF and ARCA members, as well as supporters of the roofing industry, are being asked to assist in gathering back-to-school supplies and monetary donations.
Items requested for New Pathways for Youth: (in-kind donations can be dropped off at the ARCA office between now and the end of June)
Backpacks (ages 12-17)
Lotion
Sunscreen
Mentors (learn more about the mentoring program)
Monetary donations (you can donate here)

For most of these children, uncertainty has been a constant reality. While their needs, such as food, school supplies, or standard toiletries, may not have changed, the world has. And while it’s never a bad time to give, New Pathways for Youth and Youth On Their Own need our support now more than ever. Take the needed action to ensure these organizations are able to provide necessities for homeless, at-risk, and disadvantaged youth. ARIF and ARCA want to thank all of you for giving what you can and supporting these organizations during the trying times of the coronavirus. Help them share some love!
Do you know of someone in the industry who is ‘doing good deeds’ in their community? Help us catch them at it. Send news and information to info@rooferscoffeeshop.com.
