Editor's note: RoofersCoffeeShop® prides itself in the ability to connect and support the industry through the influencer program. This program creates a platform for industry experts to share what has helped them succeed and help others find their own successes. To help facilitate this, these influencers recieve a question or prompt every month. These are tailored to be releant to current or common challenges in the industry. For March, we're focusing on advocacy in the roofing industry.
The following is a transcript of a video response sent in by Peter Horch, president of Horch Roofing. You can read the transcript or watch the video below.
Peter Horch: Hello, this is Peter Horch at Horch Roofing in Warren and South Portland, Maine. My suggestion for staying involved in the industry and advocating for roofers is to go to Roofing Day. Roofing Day is put on by the National Roofing Contract Association, and it happens on April 16th and 17th. This year, it's an opportunity for hundreds of us roofers from across the country to go to Capitol Hill, meet with our Congress people, and have a unified voice about how we can make the industry better. So if you wanna stay involved, if you wanna make a difference, meet me on Roofing Day in April. Thanks so much.
