In Season 5, Episode 90 of Roofing Road Trips®, Justus Knights spoke with Heidi J. Ellsworth about the advancements Roofle is making with the new RoofQuote Pro V 2.0 portal. Justus grew up in the industry, worked as a contractor and then shifted into the financial world. He decided to merge the two interests, explaining, “When I found Roofle it just seemed like a perfect fit. It was a way to stay even closer to contractors, obviously still using a lot of my finance background.” His goal is to resolve some of the struggles in the industry on the finances side that he saw firsthand.
Roofle does this by expediating a traditionally slow and tiresome process. Justus explained how they work to streamline the sales process, “We offer integrations with Beacon PRO Plus for material orderings and we have our finance branch, Contractor Loan PRO.” This streamlining of the financial process is mainly focused in creating a win-win situation for both clients and contractors.
One of the ways they did this is through the user-friendly interface of the financial portal. Justus explained, “Every option in the portal is just click and go, click and remove. It is a very straightforward, easy process because people have a lot going on.” This allows customers to change and choose a variety of different packages before they decide on paying for the project, but it also allows for a faster turnaround time for contractors closing leads. After closing the lead, there are even more integrations in the portal that allow for a timely and efficient finish. Justus explains that digitizing things like loan offers means “the contractor gets paid this week when they finish the job, consumer gets their roof done and then when the insurance pays out, that becomes a zero-interest loan to the consumer.”
