Sikalastic RoofPro to the Rescue for This Standing Seam Metal Roof

When the owner of a large standing seam metal roof started to leak from several spots, they enlisted Wayne’s Roofing to do a repair. The building itself could not handle the weight of an entire coating system due to its small weight tolerance. That’s why Wayne’s Roofing turned to Sika for the perfect solution: Sikalastic RoofPro membrane system that can be used locally and provides a 10-year warranted system to the customer. 

Sika’s local representative and Technical Field Service worked with Wayne’s Roofing to design an application, including proper substrate preparation, to achieve a warranted Sikalastic RoofPro system. Wayne’s Roofing reported to Sika that over the winter they did not receive one call back for leaks on the areas they completed with the Sikalastic RoofPro membrane system. 

Project requirements 

Install waterproofing over seams, around HVAC units and along the outer edge of a metal roof while not exceeding the designed weight limit of the roof.
