ServiceCon 2025 is set to bring a fresh approach to industry events with its focus on participant collaboration, hands-on learning and real-world strategies for both commercial and residential roofing contractors. Taking place from March 12-14 at The Woodlands Resort in Texas, the conference breaks away from traditional trade shows to create a more engaging and practical experience. In this episode of Roofing Road Trips®, host Megan Ellsworth spoke with Will Riley of Centerpoint Connect about how the event has evolved and what attendees can expect from this unique gathering.
The conference, which was initially launched in 2022, found new life under Will's leadership after its founder, Ryan ofSTG, moved on to other ventures. Will saw the untapped potential in the event, describing it as a space for contractors to not only learn but actively implement creative strategies. “How do we make this bigger?” Will recalled asking himself before acquiring ServiceCon.
One of the key highlights of ServiceCon 2025 is its progressive agenda. Rather than a series of disjointed lectures, the conference is designed to be an interconnected experience where attendees build on their knowledge session by session. “We’ve already got the outline, and we are leaning on experts within each of these segments to fulfill that outline,” Will explained, ensuring that participants walk away with applicable strategies rather than just theory.
Networking will play a pivotal role in the event. Recognizing the value of peer-to-peer learning, the conference will facilitate direct connections between professionals at different levels of business. “I get a lot of that type of feedback,” Will said. “Sales managers that want to talk to other sales managers or directors.”
Among the industry experts confirmed to speak are Greg Hayne, Chad Westbrook and Bryan Mitchell, with more names expected to be revealed soon. The event is also designed to be accessible, with Will noting that affordability is a priority. He shared, “It won’t be as much as it was before...we’re going to float as much of the cost as possible and really make it not expensive to show up.”
With its unique structure and emphasis on industry-wide improvement, ServiceCon 2025 is shaping up to be a must-attend event for roofing professionals. Will hopes that the value of the conference will extend beyond the three-day event, making a lasting impact on service divisions across the country.
