Selling a long-term investment

DaVinci Selling a long-term investment
November 2, 2024 at 6:00 a.m.

By Emma Peterson.

Learn how to help home and property owners understand the total cost of a roof by explaining the lifecycle of materials that they choose.

Roofs are large investments, typically the biggest investment after the purchase of the building itself. Because of this, home and property owners often enter the world of reroofing slightly apprehensive. As a roofer, you can alleviate some of their stress by helping them understand the durability, aesthetics, warranty and performance of their material choices in terms of the lifecycle of the roof. By doing this, they learn about the total cost of a roof, which helps them comprehend that the high up-front cost is actually a long-term investment. To help you learn how to do this, Jason Totin and Jason King are visiting The Coffee Shops™ for a Read Listen Watch (RLW)® on November 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. PT.

Jason T. is the president and owner of Totin Too, a roofing and exterior contracting company out of Wexford, Pennsylvania. He has been in the roofing industry his entire life, starting with helping his dad’s roofing company at age 10. Overall, he has been in and around the industry for over 20 years and his current company has up to a dozen employees working on around 70 projects a year.

Jason K. is a territory sales manager for DaVinci Roofscapes. He works out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and serves the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia markets. Similar to Jason T., he has been around the industry for decades as his dad was a general contractor. Throughout his youth he spent summers working for his dad’s company, getting hands-on experience in roofing and siding.

The duo will be sharing how their experiences have taught them that investing in the best-made materials up-front is worth it for home and property owners as it yields the highest return. This idea can be understood and conceptualized through something called Total Cost Ownership (TCO). In basic terms, this is the idea that choosing high-quality materials such as DaVinci’s composite roofing products can offset the initial cost of the roof through lower maintenance costs and a longer lifespan before replacement is needed.

To get more details about this idea and to learn how to use it to sell high-quality roofs, register for the webinar, which will be on November 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. PT.
