In the first episode of a brand-new podcast series, the Business Accelerators Podcast, Heidi J. Ellsworth talks with Anna Anderson about how she is helping Owens Corning roofing contractors make the transition from traditional forms of marketing to digital marketing. They also discuss Anna’s business, Art Unlimited, which works with OC contractors to help them accelerate profits through marketing strategies. This new podcast, sponsored by Owens Corning and located at RoofersCoffeeShop®, dives into the many helpful services offered by Owens Corning for contractors.
Anna is an Owens Corning Business Accelerator and has been working for years with contractors who have struggled with making the change into digital marketing and business. While digital sales and the use of technology for marketing have been gaining ground in the roofing industry for several years, some contractors continue to struggle adjusting to this “new normal.”
“We work with contractors from across the nation who want to accelerate their business growth,” said Anna. “We first do a deep dive and assess where their marketing sits and where they would like to go.”
Anna’s father started Art Unlimited decades ago. She sees marketing as an art form and makes a point of not forgetting her company’s origins in traditional marketing.
“Traditional marketing still has a place in our daily lives. Art Unlimited is about 70% digital marketing and 30% traditional. And there's new faces of marketing that are expanding, especially due to the transformation 2020 has brought to our lives,” said Anna. “Art Unlimited is continuing to expand and look at ways to not only consistently drive the growth and revenue needed for businesses to sustain, but also to expand and look at new territories and new offerings, because business is anything but stagnant. It should continually be growing and changing.”
The Business Accelerators program, offered by Owens Corning, looks at all aspects of the company. It is made up of a team of experts including Rodney Webb and the Rodney Webb University sales coaches who dive deep into the sales process and teach businesses how to maximize efficiencies to ensure a high close rate. The program also includes EOS coach Sue Hawkes, CEO and Founder of the YESS! Program, who helps identify growth opportunities and instills systems to make sure businesses stay healthy and running at their peak functionality for the long-term.
“Bringing these consultants into your company really allows you to make sure that you are growing effectively, having the highest profit margins [and] providing the great customer service that your business is known for,” said Anna. “Owens Corning has just been a fantastic partner for myself and I know the other two consultants that we're talking about, Rodney and Sue. They really have helped embrace us and say, ‘Hey, we recognize the value that wisdom has to help businesses grow and expand,’ so I think it's a great program and incredibly honored to be part of the Business Accelerators new addition to the Owens Corning portfolio.”
