Roofing Day in D.C. will be in person at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., April 5-6. Hundreds of roofing industry professionals are expected to visit with members of Congress to discuss issues pertinent to our industry.
Although not all Congress members will be available to meet in person because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person meetings will be scheduled for many participants. Please note one or more of the meetings may be virtual.
To foster an educational and collaborative experience, we have created a half-day event where expert speakers and panelists will convene to inform and inspire attendees. In addition, sightseeing tours will be available for those interested. As always, you will have ample opportunity to network and connect with fellow professionals, and we encourage you to bring key employees to the event.
Highlights of the event include:
Opening cocktail reception
Advocacy training and issues briefing
Presentations from members of Congress
Administration speakers who will address supply chain issues or OSHA policies
Best practices for Capitol Hill meetings presented by a Congressional Chief of Staff panel
Capitol Hill meetings with congressional representatives (in person and virtual)
Wrap-up reception at the Top of The Hill Banquet Center overlooking the National Mall
