Every year, the Roofing Alliance, the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), shines a spotlight on the accomplishments of roofing industry professionals with their Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards. These awards encourage companies to nominate employees who went above and beyond in the last year and who are deserving of praise. Nominations are currently open until Friday, September 30.
If you’d like to nominate an employee for the MVP award, you can do so for one or both of these categories:
Employers are encouraged to nominate employees who display exceptional performance and leadership. This can include those with a strong work ethic, leadership skills and ability to take initiative when necessary. They can also have displayed a supportive attitude for their fellow co-workers and always go the extra mile with their job responsibilities.
You can also nominate a worker who shows compassion for their community. This can include those who perform volunteer work regularly and show a general sense of dedication to bettering their community.
The MVP winners will receive a variety of prizes including:
Two coach airfares and three nights’ of hotel accommodations for NRCA’s Annual Convention
Two complimentary SuperPass registrations to the 2023 International Roofing Expo®
Two complimentary tickets to the NRCA Industry Awards on March 8, 2023
A $100 American Express gift card
The winners will be notified the week of December 5 so they can plan to visit the NRCA’s Annual Convention on March 7-9, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. If you’d like more information on how to get yourself involved with the Roofing Alliance, you can contact Executive Director Alison L. LaValley to learn more.
