Currently the Roofing Alliance is very focused on several initiatives that go to the very heart of what the Roofing Alliance is; the Ronald McDonald House Charities Partnership and The Alliance’s Construction Management Schools Initiative lead the programs.  These initiatives are making an impact on not only the roofing industry but outside the industry by giving back in ways that no other industry can.

Other Roofing Alliance programs and initiatives include research into silica safety and moisture release in concrete decks along with supporting ongoing industry initiatives.  Every year they highlight the success of the roofing industry with programs for roofing contractors including the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Gold Circle awards for craftsmanship, safety, technical and philanthropy.  They also award annual scholarships for college educations through the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program.

The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress was established within the National Roofing Foundation (NRF) to create a permanent endowment fund to serve as a highly focused resource for the roofing industry. The Roofing Alliance is a foundation of NRCA with objectives to fund research and education projects while supporting and funding charitable and educational programs.
