Only a Few More Weeks to Nominate Someone for 2021 Innovator of the Year

The Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3) has extended their nomination period to August 15, send in your applications now! 

The Innovator of the Year award was born out of a desire to nationally recognize a roofing contractor who has contributed to the advancement of the roofing industry through technological innovation or product development in one of these areas: 

• Safety innovation 

• Production/technology efficiency 

• Client service/quality of delivery 

• Employee recruitment/training/retention 

• Environmental impact  

There is a $50 nomination fee to cover processing and award costs.  

To apply, simply tell RT3 why your nominee deserves the recognition of 2021 Innovator of the Year in 700 words or less. All nominees must be a licensed and bonded roofing contractor for a minimum of five years, with ten or more employees, making a minimum of five million in gross revenue.  

Additionally, the nominee should be a member of one or more accreditation organizations, demonstrating their commitment to excellence, ethics and the roofing industry as a whole by belonging to NRCA, WSRCA, or local/regional roofing contractor organizations. Nominees should be able to easily cite how they have enriched the community through ties to local non-profits, company culture programs and more. 

The judging criteria will be focused on innovation, results, design and strategy. Judges are looking for creative, profitable innovations with a strong concept and excellent execution. 

The winner will be announced at the Best of Success conference, September 19-21, 2021 at the Omni Hotel in Frisco, Texas. The nomination period closes August 15, 2021.
