While at the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE), Karen Edwards hosted Travis Harvego and Mike Goldenstein from Roofle at the RoofersCoffeeShop® soundstage. Travis is the company’s CEO, but before that he was a roofing contractor. He elaborated, “I started roofing about 12 years ago, and I was a roofing contractor then a sales rep. I’ve kind of held every position in there and then started Roofle about five years ago.” Mike joined Roofle about a year ago as their chief revenue officer but has been in the industry for longer, “I started in the roofing industry in 1992, so I'm in my 32nd year now.”
The two of them came to the soundstage to talk about their new partnership with Owens Corning. This partnership builds on Roofle’s existing software, which allows for “the contractor to put their pricing and their products in and then allows the homeowners to come to their website to be able to generate an instant quote.” In this entire process, Roofle operates in a behind the scenes role. Mike explained, “Our software literally lives on the contractor website, so we don't even have a watermark on there. We want to empower that local contractor to be able to give all of that experience to their consumer as a local presence in the virtual space.”
The partnership takes this a step further by bringing Owens Corning’s visualization tools with Roofle’s data stacks and pricing software to create a more immersive experience for users. Travis explained, “This is designed to make the homeowner experience more dynamic by showing them more information about what a package entails. It also makes it easier for the customer to understand what's included and what's not.”
