National Women in Roofing at Roofing Day in D.C.

Save the Date for April 3-4 when NWIR will be descending on Washington, D.C. to participate in Roofing Day.

Women have been involved in politics for a long time in their local communities and in the national arena; and the 2018 election saw women elected to Congress and to state and municipal offices in record numbers. There are also other ways to be politically engaged without running for office, and one of those ways is by participating in Roofing Day to make sure that members of Congress are hearing directly from the roofing industry about our thoughts and concerns.

NRCA is coordinating Roofing Day.

As part of Roofing Day, NWIR will be hosting a luncheon on April 3rd exclusively for women in the roofing industry.  This luncheon will feature a keynote address from a politically prominent speaker, as well as remarks from other women who are politically active and engaged in their communities and their workplaces. The location for the luncheon is Charlie Palmer Steak, located at 101 Constitution Avenue NW, 9th Floor.  Networking & registration begins at 11am, luncheon & keynote speaker at 11:30am.  The luncheon is subsidized by NWIR sponsors, so the cost is only $40 per person.
