ATAS International used its spotlight on the METALCON trade show floor to introduce its latest innovation: the MetaFlex panel series, a flexible new solution for wall cladding with a modern edge. The unveiling marked a strategic move to position the company at the forefront of evolving trends in architectural metal design.
Debuted at the annual metal construction industry event, MetaFlex brings versatility and a fresh design approach to commercial and residential architecture. With nine panel profiles available in both aluminum and steel, the new line is designed to meet performance standards while offering wide aesthetic flexibility.
The MetaFlex system functions as a rain screen wall panel, engineered to allow airflow behind the facade and improve moisture control. Its box-style design and customizable features — including rib spacing, solid or perforated surfaces and varied panel sizes — offer architects and designers room to create unique, performance-driven facades.
The launch isn't just about the product — it's also a testament to ATAS' internal culture. The name “MetaFlex” was suggested by Bill Peltz, an inside technical salesperson at ATAS. The company regularly invites employees to take part in product development, from innovation to branding. Team member input is an important part of ATAS’ continued success.
ATAS International, headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, has long been known for its expansive selection of metal construction products, from roofing and wall systems to custom accessories. With more than 60 years in the industry and multiple manufacturing facilities across the U.S., the company continues to focus on both innovation and sustainability — offering solar-ready roof panels, cool roofing and insulated metal systems among its green building solutions.
