New Dates Announced for IIBEC’s 2021 International Convention and Trade Show

The trade show will now take place this September and features over 25 hours of educational seminars. 

The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) has rescheduled the 2021 International Convention and Trade Show to September 15-20, 2021, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown and the Phoenix Convention Center. 

“We are excited that we will be able to host an in-person meeting in 2021, even though it will be a little later than our usual event,” said IIBEC President Scott Hinesley. “I cannot wait to see our IIBEC members and industry partners next September for the best IIBEC convention yet. I applaud the IIBEC team for their resiliency and ability to improvise for the benefit of our members and the profession.” 

This premier building enclosure event will include over 25 hours of educational seminars, as well as a two-day trade show with over 140 exhibitors and live product demonstrations. The RCI-IIBEC Foundation and RCI Foundation Canada will also host an auction fundraiser to help support their foundations. These two organizations will also host several students from colleges across the United States and Canada. Both foundations have routinely utilized this event, and others like it, as a way to further enable student learning through the use of real-life experiences and hands-on education.  

IIBEC CEO Brian Pallasch is looking forward to interacting with IIBEC members and industry partners. “We are excited to be planning for an in-person meeting in 2021,” said Pallasch. “We have missed the in-person interaction with IIBEC members and industry partners. IIBEC’s annual convention is the place for building enclosure professionals to find solutions to the challenges they are facing in their consulting practice. We look forward to seeing everyone in Phoenix in September.” 
 
Throughout the event, IIBEC and its meeting partners will follow all safety standards as outlined by the CDC and local and state governments to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
