You won’t want to miss the 2020 International Roof Coatings Conference (IRCC), sponsored by the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA). This roof coatings event will provide information and educational opportunities for professionals in the roofing and building sciences.
The conference is July 20-23, 2020 and will be hosted at the Capital City Center Hilton in Charlotte, North Carolina. And the invitation for presenter submissions has been extended by RCMA!
According to the RCMA newsletter, “This Call for Abstracts is being released to professionals in the roofing industry, experts in building envelope technologies, green building, researchers, and the architectural community.”
Presentations should be informative, demonstrate useful tips, and/or teach attendees a new skill. One option is a how-to that provides people with new skills, technology, or a new process.
Ideally, people will be able to utilize what they learned and apply it in their workplace immediately.
Topics should be creative, provocative, and cutting-edge for the construction and roofing industry. RCMA shares some potential topics for presentations, such as: global market developments and economic data, sustainability and green building practices, energy cost savings evaluations, roof coatings formulation advancements, roof systems analysis, accelerated aging, plus input from end users on product application techniques and trends for roof coatings.
RCMA is eager for people to share with other professionals in the industry. “This is your opportunity to share your technology, innovations, knowledge and skills, and to make a difference in the building community.” Presentations should be either 30 or 45 minutes. Submissions need to include a biography explaining the presenters qualifications as a speaker, learning objectives, and a summary of the presentation topic. “Final acceptance will be based on (but not limited to) the paper’s ability to meet submission standards, overall program specification, and industry need,” RCMA explains.
Contact Executive Director Daniel Quinonez at dquinonez@kellencompany.com or 202-591-2490 with questions regarding the IRCC program.
Make sure to submit your application by the deadline, December 1, 2019.
