One of the highlights of the last year at The Coffee Shops™ was seeing all of our friends at the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE)! One such friend we caught up with was Dave Nordentoft of Leister! As we get closer to the 2025 IRE (hosted February 19 – 21, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas), we wanted to look back at some of the fun we had last year.
Dave was there highlighting the release of the VARIMAT 300, 500 and 700, which were developed after years of feedback on their other line, the VARIMAT V2. He explained to Megan Ellsworth in an interview, “There were a lot of things that came into the development of the VARIMAT 300, 500 and 700. We took a lot of feedback from the field and from the marketplace over years and years in the business and then incorporated it into a lot of these new changes and improvements that make an even better welding machine.”
A testament to the VARIMAT line’s incredible impact at the 2024 IRE show is that it took home the “People's Choice Award” in the “Tools, Equipment and Machinery” category! These awards happen every year during IRE and honor innovative solutions in eight different categories. Winning last year with the new VARIMAT 700 emphasized Leister’s commitment to pushing technology in the roofing industry to evolve and advance.
We’re excited to see what new technology Leister will be unveiling in 2025 and are hoping to catch up with them at their booth at IRE 2025 (#6057) to get any and all details we can. If you’re there, make sure to stop by and say hi to them, as well as stopping by and seeing The Coffee Shops crew in the lobby!
You can watch the full interview from 2024 to learn more about Leister products. And, if you haven’t already, make sure you’re registered for IRE 2025!
