Having a solid understanding of the roofing basics can get you far in this industry. You can’t put a price on a great education, but a free roofing college course isn’t a bad price either! In a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips, we spoke with Todd Farr, the national sales manager for EVEROOF, about their latest giveaway contest for a roofing college course at Clemson University.
The Roofing Alliance, the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), has recently teamed up with Clemson University to offer three comprehensive roofing courses. These classes are available to any industry professional, regardless of experience or background. EVERROOF is currently sponsoring a contest where one lucky roofing professional will receive the Roofing Fundamentals course (valued at $895).
“They take you through all the different roof systems so you can understand those well,” Todd said. “The whole thing is definitely valuable. I would definitely take it seriously because those that do will find themselves making more money.”
In the podcast, Todd told us that education is a core value of the EVERROOF brand. They pride themselves having a highly educated team and spreading that knowledge throughout the industry.
“We believe there's not enough education going on in the roofing industry," he said. “This is literally a business in the box. If you take this course seriously it will yield results for you.”
Listen to the entire podcast to learn more about the contest and the Roofing Fundamentals class at Clemson University. The winner of the contest will be announced live at the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) show on our YouTube channel!
