Janney Roofing is the April R-Club Roofer of the Month!

Janney Roofing’s president and senior sales consultant discuss the “Janney Experience” and their 20+ years of roofing expertise.  

In the April R-Club Roofer of the Month podcast episode, host Megan Ellsworth sat down with Janney Roofing’s president, Derek Janney, and senior sales consultant, Todd Piorkowski, to discuss the company’s backstory and their commitment to customer experience.  

For nearly 20 years, Janney Roofing has been serving Florida homeowners with excellent roofing services! They strive to serve with their four guiding principles: honesty, quality, integrity and generosity. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, the company also makes itself available to communities across the state, with offices in Tampa and Jacksonville.  

Derek spotlighted their area of specialty, “I would say our go-to is asphalt shingles. So, we are with Owens Corning. Currently we're one of about 800 platinum contractors. And this is my last year to be one of their advisory board members. So, we've really gotten to have a front seat to what's going on in the industry. But 85% of what we do is asphalt shingles. And our installation process is second to none. We put on entire roof systems, not just mix and match.” 

Janney Roofing takes pride in not only offering their customers top-quality asphalt shingle roofs, but they also do their own metal work, fabricating their own metal standing seams, as well as offering tile and TPO roofs. They’ve truly made themselves an outstanding go-to company for Florida home and building owners to turn to when they need help with any roofing projects.  

Not only does their company value providing top quality materials and services, but they also strive to cultivate a positive company culture. Todd shared, “The biggest thing about Janney, of course, being a family company, is that we treat everybody like family. We love each other. We honor each other. We're loyal. We’ve got each other's backs. We celebrate the wins. We have great dialogue, just anything we can do to make ourselves get better, we challenge ourselves to get better.”

The greatest achievement we've gotten is not being the highest rated roofer. It's being two out of the last three years, the best place to work in Orlando. And that's voted by our people.”
