Committed to returning to IRE in-person and with a bang, booth 1909 made many announcements about their product innovations, breaking the news on their new U.S. TPO low slope line and a new Class 3 impact resistant rating on its post popular residential shingle ratings during a live interview at the RoofersCoffeeShop sound stage. IKO now offers two of its Designer Shingles lines, Armourshake™ and Crowne Slate™, with a Class 4 impact resistance rating, adding to their beautiful designs and industry-leading performance an unmatched durability. And our Dynasty shingles, which have never before carried an impact resistance rating, are now Class 3 certified,” Jack Gottesman tells RCS. “Performance continues to be at the center of everything that we do; introducing the Class 3 designation for Dynasty is really, really exciting.”
With this new Class 3 impact resistance rating, IKO’s acclaimed Dynasty® premium-quality laminated performance shingles are even better than before, ensuring improved protection from inclement weather. “I know severe weather,” says Carol. “Severe weather events are going to keep happening and we're prepared for it. This fortifies the nail zone to help resist tears and blow-offs. Paired with a 1 ¼-inch nailing zone to create an enlarged nailing area for a faster for easier and more accurate installation.
