Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing lost a valuable person. Mike Mancheno, 57, was the victim of an automobile accident in Fair Oaks, California. “He wasn’t just a parent, he was Dylan’s best friend,” wrote Rosemary Reynolds on Dylan’s GoFundMe page.
A proud single father, Mike dedicated his life to his son Dylan. They took many trips together; their favorites included Disneyland and Universal Studios, among other fun places. Dylan’s education was extremely important to his father. “...he [Mike] wanted Dylan to have every opportunity to succeed in life,” Rosemary shared. Mike worked very hard to provide Dylan with chances and advantages he himself didn’t have growing up.
Rosemary wrote, “Mike’s coworkers at Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing want to honor Mike by establishing a fund for Dylan’s future education.” This fund is for Madsen Roofing, the employees, and anyone else who worked with Mike. This way people can remember Mike and provide for Dylan’s future.
More than just a father, a dedicated coworker, a kind-hearted man, and Dylan’s best friend., Mike’s loss is a tragedy. Currently, 31 donors have contributed $7,800 to Dylan’s education.
Help them reach their goal of $10,000 and help Dylan have a future and access to the opportunities his father would have wanted him to have.
