Join Heidi as she visits the IB Roof Systems booth to meet with Labor Central’s Eric Carlisle and Jessica Chavez at the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) and Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) show!
“Labor Central is a platform to connect general contractors with subgroups,” says Jessica. “You come to one place and find each other to do work together.”
Labor Central is an on-demand recruiting platform connecting roofing contractors to roofing crews to deliver manpower to available projects. This app essentially creates a space to chat, contract and complete successful roofing jobs. Contractors and crews can easily document job progress, timesheets, direct payments and change orders all without a spreadsheet.
“We are trying to centralize labor sources and labor pools for the roofing industry today,” says Eric. “This is a solution we're hoping that will change the industry and how we work.”
Labor Central is a simple solution to a complex problem. The ultimate goal is to ease the labor shortage by creating a centralized system that knows when people retire or graduate so that we can gauge a better sense of the labor pool.
“100% [it a solution to the labor shortage] Yep. Easy,” says Eric. “Get contractors and crews connected today.”
