Here’s Why You Can Expect the Best from the TopShield® Family of Products

When a company chooses to offer private label products under their own brand, you can be sure they are going to only put their name behind the best products.

If you haven’t noticed, SRS has been expanding their line of TopShield® products over the past year. We had the chance to visit with Rick Rominger, National Private Label Manager for SRS Distribution, to learn more about the growth in the product line. Rick’s job is to not only expand the company’s TopShield® line of residential and commercial products but to make sure they are the best quality in the market. With SRS standing behind the brand, Rick is committed to only offering top of the line products and solutions under TopShield® to their contractors.  

Rick joined the SRS team about a year ago. He understands the gamut of building products from starting his career in the industry over 25 years ago and advancing into roles managing brand development, brand awareness, and developing private label products for distributors and suppliers. Since joining the team, Rick has significantly expanded the Top Shield product line for SRS.

“We’ve expanded our TopShield product portfolio in many key areas to now include shingle starter, expanded our offerings of synthetic underlayments, added ventilation products, added ice and water protection with our G300 and Defender products, siding accessories and most recently metal edging and drip edge for residential roofing applications,” explains Rick.  “Our products are the highest quality of, or better than, any equivalent products in the market today. We only put our name on the finest products simply because our TopShield® products are dedicated specifically to meet our customer’s needs, will exceed their stringent quality requirements, and at the end of the day help our customer’s businesses succeed. According to Rick, feedback from contractors has been excellent and the TopShield® line has been growing in popularity.

Rick shared that it’s extremely important the products offered under the TopShield® brand reflect the values of SRS as a company. “SRS, in my opinion, is the finest distribution organization in the country,” he said. “Their values for putting their customers and employees first are hands down unequaled. The SRS leadership is unmatched. I am extremely proud and humbled to be part of this amazing organization. Our contractors and customers can rest assured knowing that TopShield® is a first-class brand that our SRS Distribution family stands behind,” says Rick.

Contractors can expect the TopShield® product line to continue to grow. “We are continuing to advance the product portfolio,” Rick says. “We will be continuing to add TopShield® products aggressively over the next 12 – 24 months, all centered on our customer’s needs.”
