RCS Harmonious Partnership
June 24, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Cayden Wemple.

Army vet, Charles Beairsto received a brand-new roof courtesy of a local roofing company and Owens Corning.

This winter, an army veteran by the name of Charles Beairsto was gifted a new roof free of charge from Freddy and Son Roofing and Owens Corning. Freddy and Son Roofing, who is an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, worked in partnership with Purple Heart Homes to finish the project.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a noble initiative that seeks to give back to those who have given so much for our country - our deserving veterans. Through this program, Owens Corning offers free roof replacement services to veterans who may not have the means to do so themselves. . With this project, Owens Corning is proud to make a positive impact on the lives of these deserving individuals and their families by providing them with safe, secure, and reliable roofs for their homes. The project has been running since 2016 and has already provided new roofs for 400 military families.

As part of this initiative, the The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project has pledged to donate all of the necessary roofing materials to ensure that the installation is of the highest quality and meets all safety standards. Through their collective efforts, the Owens Corning Foundation and Freddy and Son Roofing are making a positive difference in the lives of veterans and their families, ensuring that they are provided with safe and secure homes. This project is a reminder of the power of collaboration and the profound impact it can have on the lives of individuals and communities alike.
