Greg Hlavaty Receives Service Award for Leading the Roof Coatings Industry

The Roof Coatings Manufacturer Association (RCMA) recognized Western Colloid President Greg Hlavaty for his dedication and leadership in the industry. 

At Western Colloid, both their people and their products make them a leading manufacturer in fluid-applied roofing, premium asphalt sealcoats and reflective coating systems. Recently, the company’s President, Greg Hlavaty, received recognition for his commitment to this industry and his active involvement with the RCMA. 

This recognition was for his dedicated leadership and exceptional contributions to the roof coatings industry. 

Hlavaty has been an active member of the RCMA serving as a board member and officer, in the position of vice president, president and also lending his industry expertise to various committees and task forces throughout his many years of service to the organization. 

This service award was presented to Hlavaty by current RCMA President Chris Huettig at the RCMA summer meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, July 28, 2023. 

“It is such an honor to be recognized by my fellow RCMA members” said Hlavaty. “I extend my gratitude and appreciation to the RCMA and my peers within the organization.” 

Throughout Greg’s time with the RCMA, he has been a passionate advocate for the Association’s growth and development, and his efforts on behalf of the RCMA have strengthened the roof coating industry.
