Owens Corning is teaming up with Business Solutions partner Get the Referral (GTR) to offer a customized referral app including exclusive resources for Owens Corning Roofing Contractor Network (OCCN) members. The fully branded GTR app features content resources designed to help contractors educate, enlighten and engage existing customers while nurturing new business through the power of referrals.
Contractors have long valued referrals as a way to manage their reputation and build trust. However, asking for reviews can feel awkward and the process of managing a referral program can be time consuming. The GTR app provides an efficient and automated means of generating reviews, tracking and rewarding referral sources and spotlighting contractors’ projects. The custom-branded GTR application comes pre-loaded with resources that can help contractors differentiate their business. Resources include design and inspire design boards, Owens Corning Roofing warranty registration and roofing guides, an Owens Corning shingle selector tool, and more.
Contractors can use the app to generate rewards for referrals, including a streamlined referral payment function. The app also includes access to the Destination Motivation Travel Voucher Program. According to Owens Corning Training and Development Leader Jon Gardner, GTR is designed to support contractors’ sales teams in asking for referrals. “Data from Dale Carnegie shows that 91% of customers say they would be willing to send a referral, so this tool provides a natural way for the salesperson to make the ask,” said Gardner. “It also makes it easy for contractors and customers alike to share images of their beautiful home improvement projects.”
